Meditation Retreat: Joy is
All There Is
April 18-20
This is an invitation to join
master teacher, Bill Martin, a Taoist and Buddhist author, as well as the
Spiritual Enrichment Center meditation teachers, in a sacred time set aside on
Friday, April 18 through Sunday, April 20 at Camp Latieze in the foothills of
Mt. Lassen. The retreat will offer participants the opportunity to meditate,
share in contemplative practices, spend time in the beauty of nature and enjoy
time spent in quiet. Our teacher, Bill Martin, will be presenting teachings
that offer themselves to those seeking to live in the world grounded in the
Tao or “The Great Way.” Dr. Andrea and Joe Asebedo will again be leading
afternoon tslagi sessions (Native American tai chi), Rev. Sue MillerBorn will
gift us with her amazing yoga practice and our other gifted teachers will be
present to assist in making this a very special retreat. Camp Latieze is a
rustic camp with male and female bunkhouses with a detached shower/bathroom.
Our meals will be prepared under the direction of Dr. Andrea and Joe with all
of us lending a hand in food preparation. Tuition, which includes lodging,
meals and camp costs, is $185.00.
