Guide to The Center's
Practitioner Services

What Is a Practitioner?

A Religious Science Practitioner is a person of high spiritual consciousness and deep understanding who is trained in the art, science, and skill of Spiritual Mind Treatment. A Practitioner is licensed to practice professionally, is bound by a high code of ethics to respect your confidence, and is dedicated to the cause of helping others.

Licensed Practitioners have completed a minimum of three years of training and one year of internship.  Intern Practitioners have completed a minimum of three years of training and are currently in their internship program.

With God all things are possible.  Therefore, whatever the challenge or desire for change in our lives, there is always an answer, a way to move into a new experience.  A Practitioner can help you reach a new level of faith and conviction in the limitless creative power of Spirit.

Behind every condition is a belief.
If you can change the belief,
you can change the condition.

No matter what the question, there is an answer. A Practitioner works with you to understand your current condition. Then he or she uses conviction and faith in the Divine Presence to reach a realization about you, and the specific changes in belief and attitude required for a new demonstration to occur.

How Do I Know if I Need the Services of a Practitioner?

Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Am I too close to my own problem to see the situation clearly?
  • Do I feel that something is blocking that which I am seeking?
  • Do I feel that I lack the experience with, the training in, or the understanding of the principles necessary to resolve the difficulty?

If the answer to these questions is "yes," then you may benefit from the services of a Practitioner.

A booklet has been published to assist and inform those who desire to bring about a change for good in their lives and want to explore the use of a professional Practitioner to help reach that goal. Feel free to pick up a copy of "We Are Here For You" at the information table in the Spiritual Enrichment Center.

How Much Do Practitioner Services Cost?

The healing branch of our church, which includes the Ministers and Practitioners, offers services on a voluntary contribution basis.  This includes both counseling from the Ministers and Spiritual Mind Treatment (Affirmative Prayer) from the Practitioner Staff.  This gift, is offered in the spirit of Dana, a Pali term meaning "gifts offered to the spiritual institution or teacher that has helped."

The money donated as Dana is used to replenish our continuing education fund, which in turn allows our Ministers, Practitioners, advisors and teachers to continue their training in service to the church.

$35 Treatment
$50 Counseling
Fees for Ministerial Counseling and Practitioner Fees

We thank you for your donations in the spirit of Dana.
